The Stone Church at 283 Main Street in Gilbertville is located adjacent to the Hardwick Town Offices.   Here's the link to the website for Stone Church.

Gilbertville: a National Register Historic District

The village of Gilbertville is such a unique place--an intact "company town" -- that the Massachusetts Historical Commission back in the 1980s, encouraged the Hardwick Historical Commission to do the necessary research to get the village onto the National Register as a Historic  District. 

 

In 1991 the task was completed and now with over 130 buildings included it is an astounding achievement.

Hardwick Mill:
a large scale renovation about to get underway

This is the big project about to get underway in Gilbertville. Called Hardwick Mill this multi-million dollar project  is slated to become a mixed-use commercial facility that will include a Cannabis grow facility.   Click here to see the presentation.
